Megan brings 30 years of experience working with leaders at the top two levels of organizations, including many S&P 500 executives. She specializes in leaders who are at, or newly arriving at, the executive level often driving organizational change. What distinguishes her coaching and work with teams is the organization development lens combined with personal experience leading in large organizations. In her work, Megan helps leaders see the broader system they are part of, so that their own growth and the change they lead enable sustainable results.

Arriving at the executive level is one of the most demanding transitions in a leader’s career. The scope widens, the problems grow more ambiguous, and the thinking habits and behaviors that drove past success can become limitations. Megan helps leaders make this shift, with the influence, presence, and enterprise perspective a broader role requires.

At this level, leading change is not an occasional assignment; it is the core of the role. Executives are asked to transform strategy, capabilities, structure, governance, and culture, often while still growing into the role itself. Megan spent the first part of her career in financial services in multiple leadership roles, including Head of Organization Development, where she designed organizational change strategies and led teams. Drawing on that experience, she helps executives understand the dynamics of their system, anticipate where change is likely to stall, and make the shifts that enable their teams and organizations to move. Because the demands of transformation can outpace a leader’s capacity, she also helps leaders find and sustain the energy that leading change requires.

Executive impact and organizational change are ultimately realized through teams. As an extension of her work with individual leaders, Megan works with executive and leadership teams on how they lead collectively with high vitality and impact, align around shared priorities, make decisions, and work through the dynamics that slow them down. She also designs cohort programs in which groups of senior leaders develop together, build relationships, and drive organizational change.

Her approach integrates systems thinking, complexity, somatic practices, and work with emotions, helping leaders and teams shift long-held patterns so they can show up with greater range and impact. Megan’s commitment to ongoing learning also shapes how Capacity Group designs client engagements for sustained growth and leverages the latest research and tools are informing the work.

Megan received her MS in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University and her certificate in leadership coaching from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership. She is on the faculty at Georgetown University and is a Professional Certified Coach. She is certified in instruments including the GLP, Leadership Circle, Energy Assessment, Hogan Suite, LVI, and Growth Edge. Megan contributes to several non-profits through talent and treasure, and spends her free time reading, traveling, and playing sports with her husband, daughter, and son.
