Emily is an executive coach with more than 20 years of organizational development experience, helping leaders and teams succeed by working smart and optimizing their personal/interpersonal impact. She has experience across various sectors, including professional services, technology, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing in both the private and public sectors.
In addition to working with Capacity Group, Emily founded and leads The Grandinetta Group, LLC, specializing in helping organizations optimize employee performance and engagement. Her experience includes working with CEOs, C-suite leaders, and leaders across all industry levels. In addition to coaching individual leaders, Emily is sought for her transformational ability with low-performing teams. She identifies root causes and addresses issues head-on, working with teams to overcome interpersonal obstacles, increase trust and dramatically improve performance and engagement.
Emily’s experience includes talent strategist and performance coach at the Fortune 500 company Accenture, where she designed and delivered leadership development programs for clients, including the USPS, Cigna, and University Hospitals Cleveland. Additionally, she led employee engagement for the firm’s Northeast region of 10K staff. Prior, Emily was a leader at Booz Allen Hamilton, creating its internal coaching program and innovating award-winning solutions for learning and development.
Emily holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Behavioral Science/Organization Development from Johns Hopkins University and a graduate certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. She is an accredited Master Certified Coach (MCC) by the International Coach Federation, which represents the highest level of achievement in coaching. Emily is certified in numerous leadership assessments such as Hogan, Leadership Circle Profile, Collective Team Assessment, Emotional Intelligence Profile, KF360, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
For many years, Emily’s passion project has been supporting military officers in the successful transition to business leadership roles. She is widely known for thought leadership in this space, having been an invited speaker at the NYSE, Blackstone, and countless professional conferences. Emily is the author of the award-winning book “Field Tested: Recruiting, Managing & Retaining Veterans” (AMACOM 2012).
